Purpose of this Human Resources Consultant
The Human Resources Consultant leads and manages all HR activities for the Pacific region such as onboarding, induction program, administering statutory benefits such as health insurance, leave benefits and rewards programs. The role calls for managing FTE and vendor staff in the Australia and New Zealand region and reports to the APAC HR head in Singapore.
A typical day at ACI for a Human Resources Consultant
* Provides administrative support for the human resources function in the areas of compensation/benefits, employment, employee relations, and training.
* Maintains employee files and personnel records, processes change-of-status forms, compiles personnel statistics and provides information to employees on matters pertaining to personnel forms and records.
* Ensures timeliness, approvals and accuracy of processed employee changes into HR system.
* Prepares special reports, such as insurance, health and safety records, turnover, headcount, and other governance artifacts.
* Administers benefit programs, prepares insurance reports summarizing claims and coverage, and conducts employee orientation to inform new employees of company benefits programs.
* Maintains and coordinates human resource policies. Advises employees regarding policies.
* Coordinates employee recognition and reward programs for the company.
* Assists with compensation projects including survey completion, job description development, job usage/titles and drafting offer letters.
* Assists with recruitment by screening, coordinating interviews, and reference checks on selected candidates.
* Researches and resolves customer inquiries regarding personnel changes and HR processes.
* Understands and adheres to all corporate policies, including but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job
* Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related field or equivalent experience.
* 5-7 years related experience.
* Experience in the HR function for a global enterprise.
* Expertise with Australia & New Zealand labor laws and Immigration rules.
* Experience in managing Governance, L&D, Compensation, Payroll and other administrative functions.
* Experience in working with Global vendors to onboard and manage consultant workforce.
* Experience with HRMS Systems such as Oracle and/or SAP.
