About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a permanent Outage Management Officer. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint.
The Outage Management Officer working as part of a supportive team, provides essential operational support. This includes validating outages and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely customer notifications. In addition, you'll handle various administrative tasks that are critical to the team's success.

You are an adaptable and proactive professional with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to build strong relationships and engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders. Highly organised, you manage competing priorities effectively to meet deadlines without compromising on quality while contributing positively as a collaborative team member.
About Your Skills
You possess exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in every aspect of your work. Your ability to identify and address issues proactively supports high-quality outcomes and minimises risk. Alongside this, you demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, enabling you to navigate complex situations with confidence and sound judgement. Your adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes further enhance your ability to perform in a dynamic and evolving workplace.
Required Qualifications
* Certificate III in Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
Desired Experience
* Proven experience in a similar administration/customer service role
* Sound knowledge of National Energy Customer Framework legislation and requirements and understanding of its impacts in the electricity industry in relation to planned outages
* Experience in updating records and maintaining database
