As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests, from overseeing restaurant operations to assisting with event coordination. Your leadership and passion for excellence will shine through every aspect of our food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the food and beverage department, including restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities with the Executive Team
Supervise and mentor a team of dedicated staff members to deliver outstanding service and foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and excellence
Collaborate with the head chef to develop innovative menus and maintain high-quality standards
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards
Uphold the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Monitor and maintain quality control in all aspects of food and beverage operations
Takes ownership of a guest complaint and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Develops relationships with all guests to build repeated clientele internally and externally
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the service team. Identify areas for improvement and implement training programs accordingly
Oversee inventory management and control to minimise wastage and maximise profitability
Qualifications
Previous experience of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry
Candidates must have supervisory experience specifically in hotels and restaurants
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilitiesKnowledge of food and beverage cost control and inventory management
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Knowledge of industry trends and a commitment to continuous improvement
Candidates must have Australian work rights
