Our client is seeking for two APS5 Workforce Procurement and Contracts Officers to join the Procurement and Corporate Services Branch.
About the Role:
The APS5 Workforce Procurement and Contracts Officer is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.
The position is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex research, analysis and advice work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position as it provides procurement advice.
Key Responsibilities:

4. Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
5. Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency.
6. Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, NDIA Procurement Policy and procedures.
7. Assisting with tracking value for money-based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
8. Preparing a range of procurement related documentation.
9. Drafting correspondence and reports, including emails and letters.
10. Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
11. Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements.

Skills and Experience
Key skills required for role/s:
12. Strong Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
13. Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
14. Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
15. Ability to remain composed in a changing, faced-paced environment.
Desirable skills to have for the role/s:
16. Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems.
17. Understanding of procurement or recruitment processes.
18. It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding or lived experience of disability.
