Desktop/Network/Firewall/EUC Onsite IT Support
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide onsite technical support for desktops, networks and firewalls.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, software updates and hardware troubleshooting.
* Install, configure and maintain network devices and servers.
* Identify and resolve issues with network connectivity, email and other applications.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate with team members and management as required.
Main Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical expertise in desktop and network administration.
* Familiarity with firewall replacement procedures.
* Able to install and administer operating systems.
* Basic knowledge of Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, Switch, and Router configuration.
* Good understanding of business English and local language proficiency.
Dispatch/Adhoc Requirements:
* Experience in handling desktop and network issues.
* Ability to apply patches and software fixes.
* Knowledge of switch and router configuration.
* Installing MS Office software.
Tools and Equipment:
* Laptop with Windows 8 or 10 and admin rights.
* Cisco console cable (DB9 Rj45 or USB Rj45).
* Pre-installed software: Putty, TeamViewer, TFTP server.
* Screwdriver set.
* Internet data card.
About the Job:
This is an on-call position that requires flexibility and adaptability. As an onsite IT support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients across various locations. The scope of work varies per client, and you will need to be able to adjust to different environments and requirements.
