Lead Hand Roof Plumber Tradesman or team required. REVA is a multi-trade service provider maintaining over 25,000 NDIS, Strata and Government High and Low rise commercial, residential, industrial and retail across the wider Perth region. Clean police checks essential.
We have openings for Lead Hand Roof Plumbing Tradesman (or woman) to work full time for ongoing roof and building maintenance and repairs, re-gutters, box gutters, metal and timber fascia repairs and replacements, tile to tin re-roofing, high rise and low rise waterproofing, facade repairs and major projects in the dry season. Open to developing relationships with a subcontractor team to take on bigger projects.
The work suits multiskilled, versatile team players used to working with harness restraint systems, who like variety and are interested in learning new skills and can train/communicate well with labourers and apprentices.
Responsibilities
* Perform ongoing roof and building maintenance and repairs, including re-gutters, box gutters, metal and timber fascia repairs/replacements, tile to tin re-roofing, waterproofing for both high rise and low rise projects, and facade repairs.
* Support and potentially lead a subcontractor team for larger projects.
* Collaborate with multi-skilled team members and communicate effectively with labourers and apprentices; operate with harness restraint systems where required.
* Train and mentor labourers/apprentices as needed while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Roof plumbing experience with complex roofing and roof leak detection skills; proficient in gutters, downpipes, flashings; familiarity with Australian Standards and Building Codes.
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain on commencement).
* Good communication and problem-solving abilities; able to relate well to customers and staff.
* Minimum of 4 years of roof plumbing trade experience.
* Hold a valid trade certificate in roof plumbing or provide evidence of Recognised Prior Learning (RPL).
* Strong safety awareness; willing to complete inductions, daily JSAs; able to work unsupervised.
* Pass medical check and random drug and alcohol tests.
* Current driver's license, white card, EWP certification over 11m, and working at heights training.
* Own trades vehicle initially (e.g., ute, van or truck); company vehicle with fuel card may be offered after a successful trial.
* Fluent/advanced English speaking, reading and writing.
* Sponsorship considered only if you meet all requirements and English proficiency (A1) or you are already in Australia.
* Salary/Pay: dependent on skill, experience, tools/vehicle, and willingness to take on various tasks; potential earnings between 100k–200k per annum depending on circumstances.
