Role Overview:
The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for brief and ongoing interventions and developing collaborative individual care plans. You will be expected to work autonomously and collaboratively with other clinicians within the program to participate in planning and development services for individuals with mental health issues and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct assessments and develop care plans for clients
2. Provide evidence-based interventions and support services
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes
4. Maintain accurate records and reporting
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW registration as a Social Worker
2. Knowledge and skills gained through qualifications and previous experience in a mental health service delivery environment
3. Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning
4. Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with individuals who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness
5. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
