If you love being the go-to person who makes things happen behind the scenes – the right (and left) hand to the Branch Manager – Bidfood Townsville is looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Administration Manager to join our leadership team.

This role is central to the smooth running of our branch, providing support to the Branch Manager and Sales Manager while overseeing the Administration and Customer Service teams. It's a hands-on position where your ability to manage processes, maintain quality standards and lead people will make a genuine impact on the success of the branch.

You'll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment and will suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills. This is an opportunity to take ownership of administration, quality compliance and operational reporting at a branch level.

About the role

Working closely with branch leadership, you'll manage administration, quality control, and customer service functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading and supporting the Administration and Customer Service teams
* Assisting the Branch Manager and Sales Manager with reporting and operations
* Managing payroll processing and employee records
* Coordinating and conducting internal quality and HACCP audits
* Recording, investigating and resolving customer complaints
* Managing customer pricing contracts and order forms
* Generating, maintaining and analysing sales and margin reports
* Processing supplier claims and calculating invoice price variances
* Preparing customer rebates and supporting month-end reporting
* Purchasing and maintaining office stationery and supplies
* Ensuring all administrative tasks are accurate, timely, and in line with branch goals

About you

You're a natural organiser who thrives in a leadership role, balancing detail with big-picture thinking. You enjoy supporting people, improving processes, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You might have experience managing administration or customer service teams, or you're ready to step into a leadership role and take the next step in your career.

Skills and experience

You'll thrive in this role if you:

* Have experience managing administration or customer service teams
* Are confident working with systems like Excel, Word, E360, and reporting tools
* Understand quality systems (HACCP knowledge is a plus)
* Communicate clearly and professionally across teams and with customers
* Have strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Are able to work methodically, quickly and accurately under deadlines
* Can analyse reports, margins, and contracts with attention to detail
* Bring a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to your work
