Roster: 8 Days / 6 Off / 7 Nights / 7 Off
Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor this shift maintenance position offers a key role for our Port Mechanical team. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of Mechanical Maintenance. Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring effective maintenance of all running plant
* Raising notification for plant defects and repair SAP
* Fixed plant breakdown response, repair, and investigation
* Online plant area inspections, sample stations, balance machines, conveyors, train unloaders
* Hydraulic experience with diagnosis knowledge
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience within the fixed plant maintenance
* Engineering or trade qualification is a must, candidates with significant conveyor maintenance experience also highly regarded.
* Hydraulic experience with diagnosis abilities
* High level communication skills
* Competent user of computerised maintenance management systems – SAP & Microsoft Project
* Ability to develop quality risk assessments, CRAW, JHA, SWMS, etc
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a high attention to detail
* Ability to work with other departments to achieve objectives, team oriented.
* Proven commitment to principles of safety and zero harm
