About the role
Premier Concrete Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Concreters for full-time roles for both SLABBIES and PAVERS in Hallam, VIC. You will have the opportunity to work as a crew leader or crew member, responsible for delivering high-quality concrete slabs or pathways and paving. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a team to complete concrete projects to tight deadlines.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing site
* Prep & finishing concrete slabs, pathways and paving to specifications
* Smoothing and levelling concrete surfaces using trowels and other tools
* Operating / working with our concrete pumps, vibrators and other equipment as required
* Monitoring the curing process and implementing protective measures
* Dismantling and clearing the site once the work is complete
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Concreter is a must, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
* Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding work
* Ability to work safely and in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to find the best solutions
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
