Assistant Night Manager Job Description
Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton is a vibrant cosmopolitan hotel located in the heart of Melbourne's Innovation District.
As an Assistant Night Manager, you will report to the Night Manager and play a crucial role in the pre-opening journey of the hotel, supporting the setup of operational foundation, ways of working, and culture of the department.
* Manage and deliver exceptional customer services during overnight hours, handling late arrivals, early departures, guest requests, issues, and in-room dining.
* Promote a collaborative workplace culture and support the Night Manager in supervising the Night Auditor and security, ensuring effective performance and adherence to standards.
* Perform and ensure the accuracy of the Night Audit function, reconcile accounts and transactions, and IHG One Rewards audit.
* Prepare and distribute key daily reports – including financial and operational reports, house status, guest arrivals, guest feedbacks, duty manager log, and daily briefings.
* Monitor security systems, conduct regular patrols, respond to incidents, and ensure a secure environment for all guests and staff.
