We're looking for a sharp, senior editor to own the day‐to‐day engine of our Client's medical newsletters and written content. This role is for someone who can set direction, keep production moving, and personally elevate the quality of what is published — not from a distance, but in the work itself.
What you'll do
* Run end‐to‐end production of newsletters and articles
* Shape the editorial mix across clinical education, policy, professional affairs, polls and alerts
* Commission, brief and manage a small network of clinician writers and subject‐matter experts
* Write and edit clinical content to a publish‐ready standard
* Protect editorial independence, particularly across sponsored material
* Ensure accuracy, balance, compliance and consistency across all outputs
* Use audience insight and feedback to continuously sharpen the content approach
What you bring
* Senior editorial experience in medical, health or scientific publishing
* Proven ability to edit and write clear, credible content for a clinical audience
* Confidence managing multiple contributors, deadlines and parallel workflows
* Strong judgement around medical ethics, compliance and sponsored content governance
* A highly organised, detail‐driven working style
Nice to have
* An existing network of clinicians, commentators and medical writers
* Background in medicine, health sciences or long‐term medical journalism
* Familiarity with healthcare policy, regulation or CPD/CME content
* Experience with newsletter platforms and social channels
