Overview
Supporting Hands Care Pty Ltd is a leading provider of in-home care services for seniors and individuals with disabilities in the Cairns area. Responsibilities
* Assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
* Preparing meals and assisting with feeding, as needed
* Administering medications according to prescribed schedules
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assisting with light housekeeping and errands
* Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or behaviour
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans
* Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar position
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability Care, or Individual Support
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and understanding attitude towards seniors and individuals with disabilities
* Ability to pass a national police check and provide references from previous employers
Benefits
* Full-time position with a salary range of $70,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
