Job Role:
A speech therapist provides high-quality patient care within their local community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver therapy sessions in private homes, clinics or through remote consultations
* Support patients of all ages via public funding schemes, referrals or private clientele
* Manage a dedicated caseload and calendar efficiently
* Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure transparency
* Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds
* Engage in optional professional development workshops, mentoring sessions or team meetings
Qualifications and Skills:
* Postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology
* Current registration with the relevant state governing body
* Australian Business Number (ABN)
* Working with Vulnerable People/Blue Card + NDIS Worker Screening
* Police Check (and international if necessary)
* Private vehicle and comprehensive insurance coverage
* Public Liability/Professional Indemnity insurance
* First Aid certification (optional)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in the field
