The business operates with a passion for animals, invests in world-class nutritional research, and upholds rigorous product safety and quality standards.About the JobThe National Account Manager will oversee and expand relationships with major retail partners across Australia and New Zealand. These are enterprise-level accounts with national distribution. The role includes strategic planning, execution of commercial initiatives, and leadership of two sales team members across ANZ.You will be responsible for both day-to-day relationship management and long-term account development. The role involves commercial planning, joint business plans, driving new product launches, and strengthening in-store presence. Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, supply chain, and finance will be essential to support business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesManage national retail partnerships and lead account strategyBuild and execute joint business plans with key buyersDrive distribution expansion and increase shelf presenceLaunch new product initiatives in collaboration with marketingLead, mentor, and support two sales team members across the regionForecast, plan, and execute to meet sales and margin objectivesCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless executionIdeal Candidate ProfileYou will have experience managing major FMCG accounts, preferably in grocery, pet, health, or food categories. You're confident in client engagement, commercially minded, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting. A background in team leadership is a plus but not essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance commercial strategy with tactical delivery.Performance & KPIsPerformance will be assessed across revenue growth, margin improvement, and account expansion. You’ll lead quarterly business reviews, support joint planning efforts, and contribute to broader business goals.
