The company's head office is located in Quoiba near Devonport, on the North West Coast of Tasmania. Our Victorian operation consists of a fleet based in Metro Melbourne with several other depots across the state.
About the role:
Reporting to the Retail Manager, this role requires a ‘hands-on’ approach.
We are looking for a Site Manager who enjoys motivating and inspiring others, is highly organised, enthusiastic, has a strong work ethic, loves customer service, and leads by example.
This role involves merchandising and stock rotation, requiring physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods on your feet.
Responsibilities include all aspects of the site’s efficient operation, such as:
* Operating the console
* Customer service
* Store administration including daily reports, cash handling, banking, and reconciliation
* Fuel monitoring, dips, and meter readings
* Stocktaking and reconciliation
* Employee recruitment, training, and mentoring
* Ensuring smooth store operations
* Liaising with suppliers and the Corporate Services Team
* Driving profitability and minimizing costs, expenses, and waste
* Organising employee rosters
About you:
To succeed, you should have:
* At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role
* Food safety certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
* Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
* A strong team-oriented work ethic
