This role provides an opportunity to work on a range civil infrastructure project and contribute to the growth of the Mildura team within Tonkin.We are seeking a Civil Engineer to assist our Mildura based team who has a desire to progress in their career and develop into a specialist in the field. This role provides an opportunity to work with other Engineers including Senior and Principal Engineers and contribute to the growth of the civil capability within Tonkin. Our ideal candidates would have 3 to 10 years’ experience in civil design engineering and be comfortable in producing technical outputs and working with other disciplines.We are also open to candidates with less experience who possess the right skillsets for civil engineering.Who You Are:A passionate and proactive team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).A technical problem-solver with demonstrated experience in a range of civil infrastructure projects.Enthusiastic about working in multi-disciplinary teams in a national team format.Where You Are:The role is located in Mildura, VIC however the candidate will work on projects throughout Australia, predominately Victoria and South Australia.What You Bring:Relevant qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering disciplineDemonstrated technical background in Civil Engineering related disciplines including experience with relevant Australian Standards and Industry Design Guides.Strong ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.Efficient multi-tasker with a fundamental understanding of project delivery processes and attention to detail.What You'll Do:Apply your technical expertise to the design of a range of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulationsProvide inputs to other engineers and drafters in producing high-quality deliverables.Collaborate seamlessly with other disciplines to ensure project coordination.Deliver well-documented designs, including drawings, specifications, and reports, meeting Tonkin's and client standardsJoin a supportive and collaborative local engineering team integrating with project engineers, drafters and lead principal engineers.Work with Local Government clients and developers to design and document civil infrastructure projects including stormwater management plans, road designs and building siteworks plans.The Tonkin difference:We know people perform at their best when they enjoy coming to work.
