Orange College is Seeking Experienced Trainers for NSW Smart and Skilled Apprenticeship Programs
Join our team and help shape the next generation of skilled workers across Current South Wales. Orange College, an approved Smart and Skilled training provider, is offering exciting opportunities for qualified and passionate trainers to deliver high-quality, government-subsidised apprenticeship training in high-demand construction trades across multiple regions in NSW.
We are currently seeking trainers for the following programs:
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (CPC30620)
Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)
NSW White Card – CPCWHS1001: Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (trainers must be eligible to deliver this unit)
Key Skills & Attributes:
Strong knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and vocational education in NSW.
Demonstrated experience delivering competency-based training and assessment.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with employers, learners, and industry partners.
Highly organised with a solid focus on compliance and quality training outcomes.
Qualifications:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
Relevant trade or industry qualification in one or more of the following:
Painting and Decorating: Minimum Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (CPC30620).
Carpentry: Minimum Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220).
White Card: NSW White Card preferred (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry).
Experience in apprenticeship delivery is highly desirable.
