Fitter/Mechanical Service Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Mechanical Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our residential service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems.
The successful candidate will have a trade-based qualification and possess a mechanical aptitude, with experience working on electrical and mechanical systems. You will also have industrial controls understanding (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.) and be comfortable working with computers.
You will work as part of a close-knit team, assisting your colleagues to ensure maximum system availability for our customers. Your tasks will vary from day-to-day, but may include preventative and corrective maintenance, mechanical fault finding, and working towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving processes.
Your profile should include:
* A relevant trade-based qualification
* Mechanical aptitude
* Industrial controls understanding (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.)
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and comfort working with computers
* Good English written and verbal communication skills
* Physical fitness
* Comfortable working at heights
* Highly motivated with a keen interest to further own ability and studies
* Honest, reliable, and proactive with strong sense of accountability and responsibility
* Team player with passion for safety culture
You will enjoy a 4 on/4 off rotating roster, with a work schedule of two 12-hour day shifts, two 12-hour night shifts, and four consecutive days off.
