Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Security & Environmental Manager to join our growing team on a full-time ongoing basis.

Overseeing one of the largest teams in the hospital and delivering services across multiple campuses, this highly respected and influential role is critical to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of LRH employees and consumers. This role offers a strong balance of operational and strategic responsibilities and is ideal for candidates with proven management and leadership experience. Supported by an energic and passionate leadership team, you'll play a vital role in shaping service delivery and driving excellence at LRH.

The role of the Security & Environmental Services Manager is:

* Ensure sufficient workforce levels to deliver consistent, high-quality services across LRH sites.
* Build a positive team culture that engages and supports staff.
* Operationalise strategic priorities to futureproof and enhance services.
* Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
* Review and improve operations to maximise productivity and efficiency.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

* Experience managing cleaning and/or security teams in a commercial or healthcare setting.
* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and dynamic workloads.
* Demonstrated success in change management and building positive workplace cultures.
* Formal qualifications in leadership/management (desirable).

Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.

Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
