We have a vacancy for a Donated Goods Supervisor at our Jandakot factory site.
The successful candidate will support and act for the Section Supervisor as required in a wide range of site activities while at the same time carrying out diverse hands-on factory tasks. Specific duties will include:
* Assist, support, direct and work alongside Donated Goods employees and Supported Employees (Employees with disabilities) on a day to day basis;
* Coordinate, sort, grade and allocate donations into relevant storage / holding areas;
* Liaise with Logistics for deliveries to and from other ParaQuad Industries sites.
* Direct donation bin Clearance Contractors regarding receipt, recording and storage of inbound donations.
* Co-ordinate storage space as required;
* Operate various machines as required for baling, weighing and diverse manual handling activities;
* Assist in the ongoing training of Supported Employees in their duties.
* Assist Section Supervisor in completion of various administrative tasks;
* Maintain the Housekeeping of Donated Goods area;
* Coordinate the collection and segregation of recyclable goods including textiles scrap metal, cardboard, books, plastic and wood;
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
