SC1 Demonstrate outstanding capacity to manage and enhance the implementation of digital technologies in an educational setting that comprises a multi campus school.

SC2 Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and a capacity to work collaboratively with school leaders and staff to imbed ICT strategic priorities of the schools and partnership.

SC3 Demonstrate outstanding capacity to coordinate and improve the implementation of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning in an educational setting and the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.

SC4 Demonstrate knowledge and skills in leading a team and proven experience to develop procedures and guidelines relating to ICT.

SC6 Demonstrated ability and commitment to lead ICT related professional learning throughout the school.

**Role**:
There are 10 days of holiday attendance requirements for this postion.

Objectives will, generally, be clearly defined; guidelines will be broad and day-to-day direction mínimal. Management responsibility extends to ensuring appropriate support levels are maintained across the school. Range 4 generally provides key support and timely advice to the leadership team and school council and liaises with the general school community, the Department and other government agencies and service providers.

Specialised professional roles will carry a high level of independence and accountability where suitable scope is provided to achieve objectives.

An education support class position supports the educational services being provided to students, but must not include duties of teaching as defined in clause 2.6.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic) or its successor. Supervision of students cannot be required except where it is an integral part of the employee¿s position or involves supervision of students individually or in small groups, in controlled circumstances, where the responsibility for students remains clearly with a teacher.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage the delivery of support services to students, teachers, parents and other school clients.

Ensure all external providers deliver the required service.

Supporting Teaching and Learning / Management

¿ Liaise with the leadership teams at each school and to the Senior Management Team around the implementation, monitoring and the ongoing planning of ICT infrastructure and software to support teaching and learning across the schools

¿ Support teaching and learning teams to create a diverse and flexible ICT platform that enhances learning opportunities and outcomes for students

¿ Assist with the creation and implementation of ICT related policy, processes and procedures and provide advice to improve current practices

¿ Disseminate information to users in clear and concise style and support users in learning systems and understanding their obligations

¿ Create and facilitate ICT related professional learning and induction to staff

¿ Work closely with staff and school-aged students in providing basic assistance and instruction where required.

¿ Provide ongoing support to staff and students in the use of ICT hardware and software

¿ Research and evaluate new or emerging technologies suitable for implementation in the school Liaise with school business managers to assist in the creation and management of ICT budgets.

¿ Oversee and manage customer enquiries.

¿ Lead and manage the team of IT technicians and support staff

¿ Work with TSSP to assist in the installation, maintenance, configuration, fault diagnosis and resolution of hardware problems relating to portable devices, workstations, servers and other infrastructure.

¿ Design, prepare, document and report on Network performance usage and statistics. Establish, manage and monitor a Tech Support Help Desk, operated by IT TSSP and support staff.
