About the role
As the Restaurant Manager for Mum`s Kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant located in Tranmere, SA 5073. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our establishment and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and coordinate all front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts to ensure efficient and friendly customer service
* Oversee inventory management and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels
* Develop and implement staff training programs to continuously improve customer service and operational efficiency
* Monitor and adjust daily operations, such as reservations, staffing, and table management, to optimise workflow and customer experience
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to align front-of-house and back-of-house operations
* Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, and performance reviews
* Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager within the hospitality industry
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to foster a positive dining experience
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle daily challenges effectively
* Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
* Detailed knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing, and other relevant regulations
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
