Lecturer/Snr Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics
At the University of Sydney Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery (Sydney Nursing School), we are seeking a suitably qualified professional to lead teaching and research initiatives in nutrition and dietetics.
As an educator, you will have a passion for and demonstrated excellence in instructing, inclusive of experiential learning and research. You will have completed a PhD and received the Accredited Practising Dietitian credential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake independent teaching and apply research or scholarly activity to enhance educational practices and outcomes.
* Conduct original research independently or as part of a team, focusing on publication, conference presentations, and securing research funding.
* Engage in high-quality teaching and learning experiences which meet the university's expectations and standards for education.
* Develop innovative teaching approaches and evaluate teaching and learning effectiveness for continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements for Level C:
* Provide leadership that has a significant impact on teaching, innovation, curriculum development, research training and supervision within the school or faculty.
* Coordinate activities of academic staff and provide training and mentorship to less experienced lecturers.
The successful candidate will have a strong network of academic, industry and professional partners and stakeholders, and be confident in delivering presentations and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a full-time continuing role based at the Camperdown campus.
