Role: AI Security Architect
The AI Security Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of our AI Security Architect stream. The role requires solid technical proficiency to evaluate various AI technologies to ensure robust and scalable architectural decisions. With extensive cyber security and deep AI knowledge, the AI Security Architect will perform AI Security Risk Assessments and implement technical solutions to mitigate identified risks. The role can be performed independently and in a group setting to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and Accenture.
Responsibilities
- Understand client business requirements in using Generative AI or AI technologies and architect security solutions to meet objectives and desired outcomes, including: AI Solution Architecture, RAG and Vector DBs, Agentic AI Security, MCP, AI Evaluation & Testing, RAI, AI Adversarial Attacks
- Research, architect, implement, and verify security measures for AI and ML systems, models, and methodologies across the AI and data science lifecycle
- Architect security controls in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Fundamental understanding of NLP, Deep Learning, Generative AI technologies (including foundation models), AI and Data Science lifecycle and MLOps
- Familiarity with DL/ML/NLP frameworks (e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, spaCy, gensim, CoreNLP); experience with Hugging Face Transformers
- Basic knowledge of the AI regulatory environment in Australia and globally
- Conduct risk assessments of AI systems to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and biases; develop mitigation strategies
- Conduct systematic research and technical risk assessments on AI technologies, platforms, and underlying Cloud/Infrastructure
- Provide leadership and mentorship within the team
- Demonstrable knowledge across cyber security disciplines: IAM, Cloud Security, Network/Infrastructure Security, Application Security & DevSecOps, Security Risk and Compliance frameworks (e.g., PSPF/ISM), Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., SABSA, COBIT, TOGAF), MLOps
- Experience with major Cloud service providers’ AI/ML offerings (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML); Responsible AI and NIST AI Risk Management

- Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain security clearance
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- AI/ML certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML)
