Job Description:
As a Telesales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering growth from designated sets of accounts. This involves managing customers' day-to-day requirements, identifying, creating, and closing new product opportunities, and selling promotions to increase margins in line with business objectives.
The key responsibilities of this role include planning and prioritizing sales activities, understanding customer needs, contributing towards business targets and profit, retaining current account portfolios, responding to customer enquiries efficiently, using excellent telephone and communication skills, and adopting best practices within the team.
Key Tasks:
* Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customers contact towards achieving agreed targets and general productivity.
* Understand customer needs and requirements identify the opportunities to build pipelines and close deals.
* Contribute towards business targets and profit by way of meeting and/or exceeding set targets as an individual and contributing to the teams.
* Retain current account portfolio to ensure all customers are still trading with us on a regular basis.
* Respond to customer enquiries efficiently and within timescales.
* Use excellent telephone and communication skills when talking to both external and internal customers, use appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods with a view to achieve objective and or business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires strong B2B experience in Internal Sales, Telesales or appointment setting, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the business and engage at all levels, ability to prioritize and work on your own initiative, confidence in negotiating and decision making, ability to challenge constructively where required, and computer literacy – Microsoft Packages.
