At Jetstar, we are seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our squads in the Digital team. This role will drive the user experience and visual design of the Jetstar website and digital interfaces. You'll play a key role in shaping our shop experience across the booking flow from concept to delivery.
To support this, the Designer will conduct user research and produce insight-driven UI and UX design, to formulate the best end-to-end experience for our customers.
This position will work in our agile teams, alongside Product Owners and Business Analysts, acting as an advocate for user experience and accessibility, applying creativity to solve complex problems.
Key skills required include:
* 3-5+ years of experience in a dedicated design role
* Advocate and drive Mobile-first design in all digital experiences
* Championing and executing the Jetstar digital experience across the Tribes within our customer journey
* E-Commerce experience highly valued
* Applying advanced design theory techniques to ensure a seamless customer journey
* Champion cutting-edge design methodologies including Lean, Human-Centred Interaction, and Design Thinking
* Coaching and mentoring digital squads to build capacity and capability
* Promoting design strategy, operations, and customer-led design through showcases, education, and briefs
* Identifying opportunities for features or products that address customer needs and offer value
* Designing and facilitating design workshops globally to solve customer and operational problems
* Leading strategic design initiatives to enhance digital and customer experience
* Championing experience and service design across digital and organization-wide
* Designing in a sprint-based Agile Scrum environment
* Proficient in Figma, Figjam, Adobe Creative Suite
* Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
