Aspect Personnel is working with a council in West Victoria to recruit a Manager to lead the council's Project Management Office/Team.
This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role and drive systems and process improvements whilst managing day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for:Management of staff (Team of Five)
Internal stakeholder engagement, coordinating between the PMO, clients and stakeholders across council
Preparing Council reports
Ensuring adherence to OH&S policies and guidelines
Ensuring adherence to best practice for capital project delivery
Team leadership and driving process and system improvements
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:A Registered Professional Engineer in Victoria (BLA)
Previous leadership and management experience ideally within a government environment
Experience in establishing and/or managing a PMO
Experience managing / leading capital works projects
A solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles and legislation
Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
