Role
About the Role: Kitchen Craftsmen has an opportunity for a HSEQ Officer to join the team based in our Joondalup office. This role is essential to the management and upkeep of all safety requirements across our various workshops and showrooms in the Perth Metro Region. You will liaise with onsite safety officers on a regular basis to promote a positive health and safety culture in the workplace.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the HSEQ Management System including policies, procedures, registers and relevant documentation
* Facilitate regular safety meetings
* Complete safety inspections
* Manage yearly external audits
* Coordinate the mobilisation and induction of new employees
* Maintain employee and contractor certificates, licences and insurances
* Schedule trades contractors for jobs
* Support HR activities including interviewing, performance management and employee offboarding
Working hours
Kitchen Craftsmen offers attractive working hours, Monday to Thursday 7.00am–3.30pm and Friday 7.00am–1.00pm, helping you maintain a healthy work–life balance. You'll be supported by a committed management team that provides hands-on guidance and ongoing on-the-job training to set you up for success.
Qualifications/Experience
* Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or similar)
* Right to work in Australia
* Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
* 2+ years experience in a similar HSEQ role
