Roster: 3 Months Initial Casual Duration with potential to extend, Monday to Friday, Morning Shift (5 am to 1.21 pm) or Afternoon Shift (1.30 - 9.51 pm) available.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sorting recyclables from conveyor line - fast moving conveyor, repetitive work, noisy and dusty environment
- Cleaning of working areas and outside
- General labouring
- Audit waste as required by Local Council Representatives and clients, and provide accurate reporting as required on time to a high standard
- Perform maintenance and/or safety checks on equipment as required
- Review existing procedures on a regular basis, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety
Skills and Experience:
- C Class Driver's Licence (Essential)
- Valuable work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
- Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks - working on a sorting line for long periods of time can make you feel seasick
- Commitment to safety
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High attention to detail
