We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist/Advisor for our client to support our client's Human Resources operations. In this role you will be providing guidance, and support as a first point of contact for employees and managers of the company in the office located in Northern suburb of Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will be a people person and love to interact face to face build relationship with employees and managers ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations with company policies and compliance.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Act as a trusted advisor on HR policies, conflict resolution, workplace matters, and employment law
* Build strong, approachable relationships across all levels of the organisation, including white- and blue-collar teams
* Lead core HR operations for the Australian office, including:
* Employment contracts and documentation
* Compliance with policies and local labour laws
* Managing employee benefits and external vendors
* Supporting performance and absence management
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and compliant HR documentation and processes
What We're Looking For:
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar HR role in Australia
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
* Solid understanding of Australian HR best practices
* Experience supporting both white- and blue-collar employees
* Warm, approachable, and culturally aware - someone people trust and feel comfortable speaking with
* Confident managing sensitive issues with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Able to work on-site 4-5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
