Senior Structural Engineer – Dams (Perth, Western Australia)
Join AECOM's Dams team to contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management on critical water infrastructure projects across Australia. Base can be at any of our offices: Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth, or Melbourne.
Responsibilities
* Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures.
* Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams.
* Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams.
* Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and assurance data, and construction reporting.
* Preparation of tenders and proposals & mentoring.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated capability in structural design, including preparation of design reports, drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential).
* Positive, collaborative approach to challenges.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and local industry.
