With a strong pipeline of work coming through the workshop, we're looking for experienced Hydraulic Fitters and Mechanics to strengthen our team.
Working from our Hydraulics Workshop, you'll complete the strip, overhaul and rebuild of hydraulic components — including cylinders, valves and accumulators — supporting both internal sites and external customers across NSW and the ACT. Components range across surface and underground mining equipment, offering variety and technical challenge.

Current Roster
* 48 hour week
* Monday to Thursday 10.5‐hour shifts (including unpaid meal break)
* Friday 8.5 hour shift (including unpaid meal break)
* Early finish Fridays – beat the Newcastle rush
Rates are competitive and aligned to skills and experience.
What you'll do
* Overhaul hydraulic cylinders, valves, pumps, motors, accumulators and more.
* Strip, inspect and reassemble hydraulic components to quality standards.
* Work on components from surface and underground mining equipment.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
* Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
What you'll bring
* Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential).
* Experience overhauling piston pumps and motors (highly regarded but not essential).
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and safety‐focused mindset.
