Job Description: DCS Panel Operator (Urea Plant)
- Operate and monitor the urea and granulation plant control panel, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain optimal process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow rates) to ensure consistent quality and quantity of urea granules.
- Continuously monitor and assess the operation of urea synthesis, granulation, ammonia storage and solid handling units.
- Assist with the troubleshooting and maintenance of panel-controlled equipment, including pumps, conveyors, reactors, and cooling systems.

- Operate and monitor the ammonia plant control panel, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain optimal process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow rates) to ensure consistent quality and quantity of ammonia.
- Continuously monitor and assess the operation of the ammonia plant.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to plant performance, including yield, quality, and efficiency.
- Complete shift logs, MOS/POS logs, incident reports, and other necessary documentation to maintain operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical certifications or a Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related fields. Familiarity and experience with the Snamprogetti urea process and Thyssenkrupp granulation is a plus (Urea Plant).
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience as a panel operator in a urea synthesis and granulation (Urea Plant).
- Strong knowledge of urea synthesis, granulation, and fertiliser production processes (Urea Plant).
- Technical certifications or a Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or a Science graduate with Chemistry, or related fields. Familiarity and experience with Haldor Topsoe are a plus (Ammonia Plant).
- Minimum of 5 years for engineers and 10 years for others of hands-on experience as a panel operator in a world-scale ammonia (Ammonia Plant).
- Strong knowledge of ammonia production processes (Ammonia Plant).
- Proficiency in operating control panels and process monitoring systems.
