Cultural Connection - Macedonian Speaking Volunteer Opportunity – Brighten a Senior's Day in Residential Aged Care!
We're seeking a Macedonian speaking volunteer to spend one-on-one time with an elderly resident in. You will not only provide friendship, but support cultural connection to the person you visit.
Monday to Friday
Flexible times: 10am–12pm or 2pm–4pm
30 minutes to 1 hour per visit
Your visit could include:
* A gentle walk in the garden
* A fun game of bingo
* Sharing coffee in the courtyard
* A warm chat and meaningful conversation
* Or simply sitting together and being present
No special skills are needed — just kindness, patience, and a listening ear.
Whether you're a student, retiree, professional, or have time to give, you are welcome here. Every smile shared makes a difference.

Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
