A full-time permanent role for a renowned non-profit organisation helping the growing local Aboriginal community in community service and healthcare, seeking a Financial Accountant, Senior Accountant or a Bookkeeper, to manage the organisation\'s finances and liaise with company stakeholders.
Location: South Eastern Melbourne, VIC
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance accountant role
Responsibilities
* Financial reporting and analysis.
* Reviewing and approving financial transactions.
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Providing support during audits.
* Supervising and training junior accountants.
* Ensuring tax compliance and handling tax-related tasks.
* Offering financial advice and insights to management.
* Identifying and implementing process improvements.
* Participating in meetings with other departments and stakeholders.
* Continuing professional development.
