About the Role

Yadu Health is seeking skilled and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our Aged Care services team at Seaview Village in Ceduna. With multiple positions available, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly residents while advancing your career in a supportive environment.

Reporting directly to the Residential and Home Care Manager, our Registered Nurses work closely with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing of our residents.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):


• Provide safe, high-quality, and culturally respectful nursing care tailored to each resident's needs.


• Conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and work closely with the interdisciplinary team.


• Monitor residents' health, respond promptly to changes, and administer prescribed medications and treatments.


• Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with organisational and regulatory standards.


• Foster a supportive environment that promotes residents' dignity, independence, and quality of life.


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, while supervising and supporting care staff.


• Contribute to infection prevention, compliance requirements, and ongoing professional development.

This role requires someone who is proactive, culturally responsive, and deeply aligned with our mission to support First Nations health outcomes.

About You

You are a compassionate Registered Nurse who values cultural respect and understands the importance of person centred care in an Aboriginal community. You bring strong clinical skills, the ability to respond to changing health needs, and a commitment to maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents. To thrive in this position, we are looking for candidates who can meet the following criteria:


• Bachelor or Masters degree in Nursing or equivalent with minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia.


• Current AHPRA Registration without restrictions.


• Previous experience in a similar Aged Care role is highly regarded.


• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is highly regarded.


• Valid Driver Licence (Class C or equivalent).


• Permanent work rights in Australia or work rights that do not require employer sponsorship.
