Description Position Purpose As a Perioperative Nurse, you will play a vital role in our Day Hospital teams, ensuring safe, high-quality care during fertility procedures. We have two opportunities available: Scrub/Scout Nurse – Multi-site role (Monday & Wednesday across various sites) Anaesthetic/Recovery Nurse – Notting Hill Your mission? Deliver exceptional perioperative care, uphold best practice standards and provide compassionate support to patients during critical moments in their fertility journey. Key Responsibilities Scrub/Scout Nurse Prepare theatres, instruments and consumables; maintain aseptic technique Scrub and circulate for fertility and gynaecology procedures Anticipate surgical needs and ensure safe intra-operative workflows Collaborate with anaesthetic and recovery teams for optimal patient outcomes Anaesthetic/Recovery Nurse Complete pre-op checks and patient education Assist anaesthetists with monitoring and airway management Deliver safe, compassionate recovery care and discharge readiness Maintain accurate documentation and escalate concerns promptly What We Are Looking For The successful candidate will have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Recent perioperative experience in Scrub/Scout and/or Anaesthetic/Recovery Gynaecology or fertility theatre experience (highly regarded for Scrub/Scout) Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centred approach BLS/ALS competency (for anaesthetic/recovery roles) and commitment to ongoing professional development Why Join Us?
