Transformative Liaison Librarian
This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking Liaison Librarian to join our dynamic team and support students, academics, and researchers in a rapidly evolving university environment.
You will provide expert guidance, deliver embedded information and digital literacy support, contribute to curriculum development, and guide scholarly communication, Open Educational Resources (OERs), and emerging technologies including generative AI.
Your work will focus on enhancing the student experience and supporting UniSC's mission to transform lives through learning and knowledge.
You will be part of a collaborative, innovative team committed to continuous improvement and inclusive practice.
Working across physical and digital spaces, potentially across multiple campuses, you will help shape library services that empower the UniSC community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with academic staff to deliver library support and embed digital and information literacy into teaching and research.
2. Support and promote scholarly resources, including OERs, and advise on research tools and emerging technologies like generative AI.
3. Develop strong relationships with students and staff to deliver inclusive, innovative library services across physical and digital spaces.

Requirements:
1. A degree in library or information services (or equivalent) and experience in an academic or research environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to deliver information and digital literacy training, supporting learning, teaching, and research within higher education.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
4. Experience with research tools and technologies, including citation management, scholarly communication platforms, and emerging tools like generative AI.
5. Knowledge of copyright legislation, open access, and sustainable resource development, including OERs.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, contribute to projects, and adapt within a team environment.
7. Flexibility to travel to different site locations.
