We are partnered with Australia's largest wholesaler of fresh flowers and potted products. We are looking for passionate and reliable people with a love for creating beautiful spaces to join our merchandising field team in Canberra's Central area.
Our floral merchandising team specialise in creating inviting floral & potted displays within major supermarkets throughout Australia.
This opportunity will involve servicing stores located in: Civic, Dickson, & Jamison. Working days for this role will be working 5 days per week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Working hours each week will be approximately 18-22 with shift times starting between 6-7am.
Duties of the role will include:
* Merchandising the company's product range in-store at major supermarket chains within your assigned area.
* Create point of sale displays, ensuring the product is well-stocked and maintained
* Checking stock levels for stores, liaising with store managers
* Bringing stock onto shop floor from loading dock, unpacking, and displaying (lifting up to 12kgs).
* Cleaning display area and checking stock quality
* Customer contact and liaising with store and department managers.
This position will have full training provided and we are looking for a candidate who has the following skills and attributes:
* Own reliable car is essential with Australian driver's license.
* Able to work early mornings (6am)
* Prior retail, supermarket or merchandising knowledge is an advantage, but not essential
* Exceptional customer service skills with great communication abilities
* Well presented, with a flair for creativity
* Reliable and physically fit with the ability to work unsupervised
