Trade Counter Assistant Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Trade Counter Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will play a vital role in supporting plumbers and other tradespeople with their building and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service and product information to customers
* Offer quotes both in-person and over the phone, ensuring accurate and timely support
* Undertake pick-packing and stock control activities to maintain efficient operations
* Contribute to maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
* Make occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
Requirements:
* Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences
* Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays, and provide accurate information to customers
* A valid driver's licence (pre-hire checks conducted) and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
