Job Description
Centacare North Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers vital services to the North Queensland community from offices in Townsville, Ayr, Bowen, Mt Isa, Cloncurry and Normanton. The successful candidate will secure a rarely available position as Remote Operations Manager.
This leadership role offers an opportunity to work with a local organisation that gives back to the community. As a leader, you will be responsible for a range of programs and teams who deliver these programs. You will enjoy:
* High-level advice to the Executive Director on operations, programs and planning of remote area services
* Strategic and operational leadership to management and staff within the remit of the role
* Leadership and direction in the development of services, programs, operational and financial plans
* Regular reporting to the Executive Manager on operational, services, programs, staffing and budgetary matters
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a related field with postgraduate studies underway or willingness to complete
* Five (5) years demonstrated leadership experience in service/program delivery within a not-for-profit environment, financial management, change and general management at senior level
* Demonstrated capacity to manage multi-disciplined teams and complex service portfolios
* Current, or eligibility to obtain, both a Working with Children Blue Card check and Disability Worker Screening
