If you are looking to work in a busy environment, you will NOT be disappointed
If you're a people person, animal lover, and have a passion for providing a positive experience, THIS is the place to work
Greencross South Tamworth is seeking a vet nurse with a bright, positive personality, an active approach to problem-solving, an eye for detail, and strong, empathetic communication skills.
We offer full-time hours (38 per week) which can be over 4 or 5 days, or part-time hours can be discussed to suit your needs and fit with the team. Clinic hours are 8am - 6pm, with staff working shifts within these hours.
The clinic primarily handles domestic cats and dogs, but also sees a variety of cases including ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and occasionally kangaroos and tortoises, due to its long history of referral patients from across northern NSW.
Our dedicated team of veterinary and nursing staff emphasizes ongoing training across all aspects of our business. Our veterinary team has diverse interests including orthopedics, ophthalmology, dentistry, and medicine. We handle a wide range of orthopedic and medical cases, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and gadgets that enable us to offer services typically found only in major cities.
We value team camaraderie, with regular staff get-togethers, treats, and fun events like "crazy scrubs day" every Monday. Many staff members have over 15 years of service; our Head Receptionist has been with us for 30 years, and our Practice Manager for 46 years. They love working here, and we hope you will too
We would love to meet you. Apply now and join the South Tamworth team today
