About the role
A unique opportunity has presented itself for an expert in data support as a Data Support Officer to join the Assessment Services Team at NESA.
The Data Support Officer provides support for the collection, processing and validation of student data relating to Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 student entries, results, and credentials. The role assists high schools and senior students across NSW in receiving the Record of School Achievement (RoSA) and accessing Students Online
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
* Providing a range of support services, including completing numerous administration and data quality assurance processes for Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 student data to ensure accuracy of records and communication to schools.
* Provide advice, predominately via phone and email, that professionally and effectively supports NSW schools to complete their student entry submission requirements and supports NSW senior students access advice and results
* The role has a particular focus on maintaining accurate data records and assisting high schools and senior students across NSW in receiving the Record of School Achievement (RoSA) and accessibility for Students Online.

* Experience working within a school environment and adapting to changing circumstances.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
* A collaborative approach and willingness to take initiative to support project objectives.
Essential Requirements:
* Working with children check clearance for paid employment (prior to commencement, not required at the application stage).
