Our Far North Queensland office is one of the largest offices within the international network and continues to grow rapidly. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Care Manager to oversee our commercial home care operation in the Far North Queensland region.

You will be responsible for assisting with recruitment of care team members, training of care team members, high level clinical oversight of clients (in conjunction with the care coordination team), mentoring of care coordinators, monitoring operational performance and ensuring that high-quality consumer-directed care is delivered to all clients in accordance with Right at Home policies and procedures and all other laws and relevant professional standards. The delivery of some nursing services may also be required.
This role is a full-time management position reporting to the Executive.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing with a current AHPRA registration;
Driver's License and comprehensively insured dependable private vehicle;
Current National Police Clearance; and
Current First Aid & CPR.
Preferred Skills;
Good understanding of the Government funding environment for aged care (primarily HCP) & NDIS (preferred but not necessary);
Good understanding of the hospital discharge environment;

Excellent communication abilities, professionalism, a good reputation & respect for our staff, clients and their families;
It is also essential to have good judgment, quick decision-making, excellent communication, staff management and administrative skills.
