About the Role Following our recent success in securing the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) tender, MTC has exciting opportunities for motivated and proactive Claims Officers to join our Employment Services team in Sydney. Our Employment Services division is committed to creating meaningful opportunities that empower individuals to achieve sustainable employment and contribute positively to their communities. Reporting to the Business Performance Manager, the Claims Officer is responsible for accurately lodging claims, wage subsidies and bottom-line transactions in accordance with departmental and MTC systems. The role involves ensuring all documentation meet compliance standards, collaborating with the team to support timely submissions and offering guidance on evidence requirements and contractual obligations. The key responsibilities of this role include: Delivering high-quality post-placement support to Practitioners that will foster strong relationships with participants and employers. Collecting and collating the required documentary evidence to support and validate an outcome claim. Identifying and monitoring claims compliance issues and trends and escalate findings to Business Performance Manager. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of contractual and legislative requirements, with a strong understanding of IEA outcome and documentary evidence guidelines. Conducting thorough compliance checks on all claims, reimbursements and wage subsidy payments before approval and processing. Coordinating with finance team for urgent payments and remittance requests. Ensuring placement compliance when placement is anchored. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience working within Employment Service contracts, with specialised expertise in claims and outcomes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent administrative, technological and reporting capabilities. Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Skills in operating a contractually compliant framework. Advanced digital literacy across platforms and systems. High level of integrity, consistently upholding ethical standards and values.
