Currently, we are recruiting for an international freight forwarding organisation on the lookout for an Import Operator to join their busy offices by the Perth Airport.
If you have some import operator experience and are looking for a great team with plenty of career growth this could be the perfect next step for you!
The Role
As an Import Operator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Retrieve and process import/export documentation and freight to ensure optimum delivery times are achieved.
- Handle import/export air phone enquiries in a timely and productive manner.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the Import/Export Air Department.
- Accurate data input for speedy and efficient document flow.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding industry – specifically Airfreight.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and authorities.
- Excellent communication skills, highly service orientated.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
