This role sits within a specialist division focused on the design, assembly and supply to clients across a number of industries. The Role We’re seeking a motivated Design Engineer to support the design, engineering and manufacturing of pump systems at our Sunshine West facility. Working closely with the Lead Engineer, project teams and workshop personnel, you’ll gain hands-on experience across design, manufacturing, testing and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a graduate or engineer with 0–3 years’ experience looking to build practical, workshop-connected skills. Key Responsibilities Perform engineering calculations for pump packages, skids and trailers Produce GA drawings, fabrication drawings and 3D models Prepare and maintain BOMs and design documentation Assist with pump and equipment selection Apply hydraulic principles (system curves, pipe friction, NPSH) Support workshop fabrication, assembly and testing Participate in QA, design reviews and change management Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders About You Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) 0–3 years’ design experience preferred Exposure to manufacturing/workshop environments advantageous Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Proactive, organised and team-oriented Technical Skills Creo and/or SolidWorks Microsoft Office ERP systems (desirable) Why Join Us?
