Job Overview
The primary focus of this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identify new business opportunities within the Western Australian mining industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Growing sales by developing customer relationships, introducing new products and services, and implementing targeted sales strategies.
* Providing field sales and high-level customer consultation services in defined territories within the Mining industry.
* Conducting customer calls in accordance with established sales execution policies, leveraging time management and territory optimization techniques.
* Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities through strategic planning and effective communication.
* Negotiating trade agreements to secure and maximize profitability for customers' portfolios.
* Regular travel to remote areas to enhance market coverage, penetrate existing Mine sites, and capitalize on construction activity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or a customer-facing role.
* Background working within the Construction and Mining Industries is highly desirable.
* Tertiary qualification is advantageous.
* Solution selling and customer-centric approach.
* A valid Australian driver's license.
* Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
* Motivated and capable of working independently, managing their own call cycle.
* Strong discipline, with the ability to manage accounts remotely and build lasting relationships.
* Proven negotiation and influencing abilities, along with advanced planning skills.
