They provide services in primary and secondary installation, testing maintenance services for transformers, switchgear and associated substation equipment across Generation, Transmission and Distribution.
**ABOUT THE POSITION**
As an Electrical Fitter, you will carry out commissioning and maintenance on a range of HV assets, including large transformers and SF6 switchgear. This could see you building a transformer in the workshop one day and out on site carrying out fault finding the next. In doing so, you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including customers, consultancies, equipment suppliers and project managers.
You'll work closely with the team's Power Technicians and also engage directly with a range of stakeholders including customers, consultancies, equipment suppliers and project managers.

**Essential Criteria**:
- With a strong background in transformers, switchgear and / or associated substation equipment.
- Worked on a variety of projects and sites, across the full spectrum of the HV industry.
- An agile individual that relishes working directly with clients.
- A strong team player and willing to get stuck in.
- Holding a valid electrical license.
- Experienced working with HV equipment.
- Background from any area of the industry including industrial environments and heavy commercial environments.
- Ability to quickly pick up new things.
- Able to travel and be comfortable working away from home regularly.
