ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Electrical Fitter, you will carry out commissioning and maintenance on a range of HV assets, including large transformers and SF6 switchgear. This could see you building a transformer in the workshop one day and out on site carrying out fault finding the next. In doing so, you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including customers, consultancies, equipment suppliers and project managers.
You'll work closely with the team's Power Technicians and also engage directly with a range of stakeholders including customers, consultancies, equipment suppliers and project managers.

Essential Criteria:
With a strong background in transformers, switchgear and / or associated substation equipment.
Worked on a variety of projects and sites, across the full spectrum of the HV industry.
An agile individual that relishes working directly with clients.
A solid team player and willing to get stuck in.
Holding a valid electrical license.
Experienced working with HV equipment.
Background from any area of the industry including industrial environments and heavy commercial environments.
Ability to quickly pick up new things.
Able to travel and be comfortable working away from home regularly.
